Well, just wanted to let you all know that the movie we went to last night was The Island.
Both my wife and i liked the movie, although we both found it difficult to follow the many high-speed action scenes the movie offers.
Normally, i don't have problems watching high-speed scenes in movies, but with the island that was pretty different.
Anywho, the movie was pretty cool.
I still would like to see the war of the worlds though and gotta hurry if i want to see it in the cinema before it is discontinued.

Today, my wife and i paid a visit to family and we were at their house for most of the afternoon, until we received a phone call of one of our best friends that his cat is not well and losing weight rapidly.
So we left the family visit early and went off to visit our friend.
We spent most of the evening there before driving home at about 22:00 hours.

Then it was my intention to go watch the qualifying session for the formula 1 which should have been taped this afternoon, but something had gone wrong with the taping so there was nothing to watch.
Luckily, there is a re-run of the qualifying session broadcast tomorrow morning, so i'm gonna watch it then.

After i just published my latest blog entry, i read one of the previous posts about our cat Spike.
I just wanted to let you know all that the story sofar has a happy ending and all appears to be well again.
Luckily, Spike didn't had to go back to the vet for another treatment, just for the final checkup.
Talking about the vet, he was kind enough not to charge us for the last consult since we paid twice during that particular weekend already, so that was very cool of him.

So spike is well, happily being at home again among our 3 other cats Fonzie, Bandit and Buffy.

The world watches the terrible situation in New Orleans in the US of the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.
I don't understand why no news has been reported about Europe offering the helping hand to the US.
Just because America is a wealthy country doesn't mean that they have to solve this devastating situation all by themselves does it?
Well, apparantly and unfortunately that appears to be the case.

On a brighter note, my wife and i have planned a little dinner and a visit to the movies tonight so hopefully that will help a little bit getting our thoughts of off the Katrina deal.
