Well, christmas 2004 is about over.
My wife and I spent christmas day at my parents house.
Today we stayed home and, among other things, we watched the 4 hour version of LOTR: Return of the King.
Back to a working week as of tomorrow.
Blogosphere news from you friendly OSS dude.

This week I'm on a Sun Microsystems course, hopefully getting up to speed with some systems-tuning and security knowledge.
As far as gaming is concerned, I'm now also playing Killzone on the PS2.
I like the game, although I have to get used to the controls (not having a keyboard and mouse really is proving to be quite difficult).
I'm kinda stuck already but I'm hoping to get past the level.
I'm also playing NFS Underground 2 on the PS2.
The game engine is very different to the one from the 1st Underground.
I like it and think it is better than the previous engine.
Well, signing off (going to day 2 of the Sun course) ...

I'm running a little bit behind but this weekend I managed to finish Splinter Cell.
After completion, I installed Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and started playing straight away.
To my surprise the game engine of SCPT runs more smoothly on my pc than SC.
I have even bumped up the resolution to 1024x768 and the game is still running smooth.
The GFX engine seems to have been improved and there are some new cool moves for you to play with :)
Thankfully, Michael Ironside has also returned to do the voice-over of Sam.
Sofar, I like the game immediately, just as I liked SC aswell from the very 1st moment.
Playing many different games is great but it's getting difficult finishing up the older ones though ;)
