This requires some explaining.
I work for an ISP and once a month (used to be every 2 weeks) I'm running a standby-shift (on call 24x7).
Last weekend it was the weekend from Hell.
I received over 100 SMS notifications from our monitoring system.
There were moments you couldn't keep up with the rate we were receiving the notifications.
Finally the weekend is over and now 1 of my colleagues took over the shift.
I hope he'll have a MUCH more quiet standby-shift.
